Jody Korbach (*1991 in Bielefeld, lives and works in Düsseldorf) studied fine art from 2010 - 2017 at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Tal R, Johannes Paul Raether and Christopher Williams, whose master student she was.
Her work has been shown at Feinkunst, Sprengelmuseum Hannover (Art Germania Miami Beach, 2022), Kunstpalast Düsseldorf (Die Grosse, 2022) at the Große Kunstschau Worpswede, in the context of Korbach's nomination for the Paula Modersohn-Becker Prize in 2022, at Museum Morsbroich in 2024, at Kunsthalle Recklinghausen in the context of Korbach's nomination for the Kunstpreis junger westen 2025 – Malerei, and among various others.
She has held solo exhibitions at NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein (2023) and at Neuer Gießener Kunstverein in 2024. Her solo presentation at WRG Studios in Braunschweig will open in early 2026. This will be followed by the inclusion of her work in the exhibition DEUTSCH! at the Kunstmuseum Heidenheim.
Korbach’s work is in the permanent collections of Haus der Geschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Bonn/Germany), Kunstmuseum Heidenheim (Heidenheim/Germany), Kunsthalle Recklinghausen (Recklinghausen/Germany), Sammlung Philara (Düsseldorf/Germany) and Kunstsammlung Provinzial Versicherung AG (Düsseldorf/Germany).
